Jean-Philippe Lebœuf

Product Wizard, Software Engineer, Knowledge Architect

Hello! I’m Jean-Philippe, a product-oriented software engineer with decades of experience in IT.

My journey has taken me from AI research to leading remote engineering teams. I enjoy transforming complex ideas into impactful products and thrive in modern, agile environments where asynchronous and remote work are the norms.

I approach product development strategically, combining technical expertise with analytical thinking to solve problems. My T-shaped skillset allows me to collaborate seamlessly across disciplines and geographies, always striving for process improvement.

I’ve worn many hats—CTO, product lead, team lead, meetup organizer, and academic advisor—each shaping my balanced technical and interpersonal skills across cultures and continents.

Core values? Optimism, grit, and honesty. I bring a can-do attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a drive for delivering results to every project.

In a past life at Paris-Saclay University (M.Sci. Cognitive Science and beyond), I delved deep into the philosophy of AI, document science, semantic distributed computing, and language models. I’m also an alumnus of EPITA (M.Eng. Software Engineering & Computer Science).

This academic foundation, combined with my industry experience, gives me a unique perspective on today’s tech challenges.

I’m also a passionate writer, dedicated to making complex concepts accessible.

Want to build something great together? Let’s chat. I’m always excited to take on new challenges and push the boundaries of what’s possible in software development.
